Apple “Nachos”
Celebrate the flavors of fall with these healthy apple nachos—a fun twist on a classic snack. Crisp apple slices are drizzled with creamy nut/seed butter, sprinkled with warm cinnamon, and topped with crunchy cacao nibs (or any seasonal toppings you love). This easy, nutrient-dense recipe comes together in minutes and is perfect for fall gatherings, after-school snacks, or when you’re just craving a cozy, festive treat.
Ingredients:
1 apple of choice, sliced into thin “chips”
1-2 Tbsp creamy nut/seed butter of choice (almond, peanut, cashew, sunflower seed, tahini, etc.)
Cinnamon to taste (a few shakes)
1 Tbsp cacao nibs
Optional additional toppings: nutmeg, pumpkin spice, honey, shredded coconut, chopped nuts, granola, etc.
Directions:
Slice your apple into thin rounds or wedges - these will serve as your nacho “chips.”
Arrange apple slices on a plate or platter and drizzle with your nut/seed butter of choice.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and cacao nibs, along with any other toppings you’d like.
